Series: Contested Visions in Latin America Through Film

The LACMA is offering a great opportunity for film lovers to get their fix as “Contested Visions” continues.  Actor/Director Edward James Olmos will be hosting the event on January 21, 2012. The LACMA will be showing international films starting at 1PM and there will be a round table discussion at 6:45PM. You need tickets for each movie, however, they are all free.

El Violín (The Violin)

El regalo de la Pachamama (The Gift of the Pachamama)

 

On Sunday January 22, 2012 the LACMA will be screening documentaries.

Teshuinada, Semana Santa Tarahumara (Teshuinada, Holy Week at the Tarahumara)

Solo un cargador (Porter)

El puente dorado (The Golden Bridge)

La pequeña semilla en el asfalto (The Little Seed in the Asphalt )
